My 2015 Honda CBR600RR has been getting stubborn with startups and regardless of whether it's the first cold start of the day or right after a quick gas stop, itt cranks, but takes its sweet time to actually fire up, I recently cleaned the air filter so I'm not guessing about that and the battery are usually the first things saavy people check so I've done that, it used to start up quick with just a light touch on the button now it takes several tries

I think it's possible it's your fuel pump starting to say goodbye or it maybe dirty injectors. Try cycling the key a few times before hitting the starter and see if it helps. Update me here.

you know, a slow startup after working perfectly is usually bcs an electrical issue beyond the battery.
Even though it cranks, the starter motor itself could be on its way out, or the starter relay/solenoid might not be sending enough current.
You can test the relay by listening for a solid 'click' when you press the start button.
Also, it's worth checking the kill switch and clutch switch contacts, sometimes they get a little dirty and don't make a solid connection, causing intermittent problems like this.
